Nature as Spiritual Teacher: Enter the Hidden Unknown
Are you you ready to deepen the relationsip you have with Nature?
To open up to the wisdom and guidance that the land has to to offer?

Join two spirited guides, Jeannie Bergstrom and Susan Connell Biggs on a journey into the hidden unknown. We will come together for 7 Saturdays, one per month from January to June and one more in October to awaken and investigate the deepening.
Expand your practice of observing, learning, witnessing, and honoring the land and all of its inhabitants: the plants, the animals, the Ancestors, the spirits of those who have been present on this land before us.
Open to receive the wisdom and guidance offered to us throught these relationships. What can they teach us about navigating our lives and this ever-changing world? About resilience, adaptability, creativity?
Venture into the wisdom of a hidden world where you learn to trust your intuition and dreams, learn to communicate with nature spirits, the gatekeepers and the guardians of the land through meditations, dreamwork, and journeying.
Deepen your sense of belonging by co-creating a community of kindred spirits!
We are looking for 10 committed women, with the desire to create a community of awareness, respect, relationship, reciprocity, joy, and support. Let's come together to create something beautiful!
Dates: January 23, February 27, March 20, April 24, May 22, June 19, October 16, 2027
Each day will be full from 9 to 5.
Location: We will meet at Jeannie's cozy woodland home in Leverett, MA and explore the surrounding woods, fields, and wetlands. Sometimes we may meet at other predesignated locations to explore different habitats.
Meals: Please bring your own packed lunch (a hearty one). We will provide snacks and teas and occasionally wild treats!
Program cost: the cost for the program is $1400 (or $200 per day). We will offer an early bird discount of $1300 to people who can pay in full by January 2, 2027.
Deposits and refunds: A minimum deposit of $150 is required to reserve a space in the program. Full payment is requested by January 2, 2027 However, if this is difficult for you please reach out about a payment plan option. If you cancel 30 days before the beginning of the program you will receive a a full refund minus a $50 processing fee. If you cancel within 30 days of the program you will forfeit the $150 deposit. Her Wild Roots Intensive 2026
This is an in-depth program where you will meet with a small group of women for one full weekend day for six months. Each weekend day will provide a diverse palette of learning experiences designed to wake up your senses to the world around you, to encourage joyful curiosity and inquiry, and to enter into the sacred mystery of the unknown in the spirit of discovery – to reveal where your passions are ignited, how your inner roots connect with the earth and which expansive directions your outer branches wish to develop and grow.

Location: The program will be based out of Jeannie's cozy woodland home in Leverett, Massachusetts where there is access to thousands of acres of conservation land nearby. Sometimes we may meet at a predesignated location to experience different habitats.
Meals: Please bring your own packed lunch, a hearty one! In May we will be making our own wild food meal. I will provide snacks and hot drinks for each class, and sometimes wild treats.
Program cost: The cost for the program is $750. This includes, all instruction, handouts, crafting supplies, medicinal herb preparation containers and components, snacks and other miscellaneous items. The Early bird discounted price of $650 is available if registered and paid in full by December 20th. Each participant is expected to provide her own gear and clothing for the outdoor component of the class. A gear checklist will be sent to each individual upon registration for the program.

Please note that our group size is limited to 9 participants and I ask that each woman participate fully throughout the entire 6 month program. Participants should be in reasonably good health, able to snowshoe and hike through moderate terrain for up to 3 miles.
5 Element-Plant Spirit Medicine Workshop
Step in to a deeper understanding of your true nature.
Join Jean Bergstrom and Clare Pearson for a day filled with play, 5 Season Wisdom, a deep dive into Spirit relationships with plants, and an invitation to understand how the seasons influence our inner nature, strengths and challenges.
By looking at Nature and the lessons she has for us, we may become clearer about our own destinies.
It’s a universal concept that Nature is the ultimate healer. But in our busy lives, we don’t often make time to walk in the woods, putter in the garden, or sit down and enjoy a sunset. When we do, we feel rejuvenated, calm and centered.
If we are tuned into our bodies and moods, we may notice that we feel better or worse at certain times of the year. 5 Element Medicine looks at the seasons to help us better understand these feelings within ourselves and each other.
Plants have so many gifts for us-they are our food, our medicine, our inspiration, and they feed our Spirit. In this workshop we’ll journey to the spirit of a plant for the wisdom the plant has to offer us.
With over 40 years of combined experience as Plant Spirit Medicine Healers, Clare and Jean will guide you on this experiential journey.

Printing with Nature
Join me for an afternoon learning the art of Tataki--zome (Japanese flower pounding). I'll provide everything for you to create a beautiful bandanna: the pretreated cloth, the flowers, earplugs, drinks and snacks, you bring a hammer! I anticipate that my garden will be peak for the best flowers that print.

Ecoprinting with Fall Leaves
When a leaf drops to the ground in the fall you might think there is no life left in it. Surprise! Many of those darlings still have something lovely to offer in the fall. They can transfer their hidden colors to fabric using the unique technique of ecoprinting.
Join me to make two printed dish towels to brighten up your kitchen or to give as gifts. I will have pretreated fabric (mordanted), all the equipment needed, snacks, and leaves for you to experiment with. You can bring your own leaves too.
When you register, I will send you a list of leaves that are good printers to be on the look out for and how to keep them nice for your printing. This technique is different than the flower pounding we did in August. We use heat and steam to transfer the color for a more lasting print. That said, every creation is a surprise and unique!
