Her Wild Roots Intensive 2024
This is an in-depth program where you will meet with a small group of women for one full weekend day for six months. Each weekend day will provide a diverse palette of learning experiences designed to wake up your senses to the world around you, to encourage joyful curiosity and inquiry, and to enter into the sacred mystery of the unknown in the spirit of discovery – to reveal where your passions are ignited, how your inner roots connect with the earth and which expansive directions your outer branches wish to develop and grow.

Dates: January 27, February 24, March 30, April 27, May 18, June 15
Location: The program will be based out of Jeannie's cozy woodland home in Leverett, Massachusetts where there is access to thousands of acres of conservation land nearby. Sometimes we may meet at a predesignated location to experience different habitats.
Meals: Please bring your own packed lunch, a hearty one! In May we will be making our own wild food meal. I will provide snacks and hot drinks for each class, and sometimes wild treats.
Program cost: The cost for the program is $750. This includes, all instruction, handouts, crafting supplies, medicinal herb preparation containers and components, snacks and other miscellaneous items. The Early bird discounted price of $650 is available if registered and paid in full by December 11th. Each participant is expected to provide her own gear and clothing for the outdoor component of the class. A gear checklist will be sent to each individual upon registration for the program.
Deposits and refunds: A minimum deposit of $150 is required to reserve a space in the program. Full payment is requested by January 1, 2023. However, if this is difficult for you please talk to me about a payment plan option. If you cancel 30 days before the beginning of the program you will receive a full refund, minus a $50 processing fee. If you cancel within 30 days of the program you will forfeit the $150 deposit. Please note that our group size is limited to 9 participants and I ask that each woman participate fully throughout the entire 6 month program. Participants should be in reasonably good health, able to snowshoe and hike through moderate terrain for up to 3 miles.
Paper Making with Wild Mushrooms
Mushrooms are not just for eating…join us as we create unique greeting cards from scratch. We will discover which mushrooms make the best paper, roll up our sleeves and get started. The process requires a second date to allow time for the paper to dry. Then we will get creative with a collection of art supplies to design our our fun and natural works of art.

5 Element-Plant Spirit Medicine Workshop
Step in to a deeper understanding of your true nature.
Join Jean Bergstrom and Clare Pearson for a day filled with play, 5 Season Wisdom, a deep dive into Spirit relationships with plants, and an invitation to understand how the seasons influence our inner nature, strengths and challenges.
By looking at Nature and the lessons she has for us, we may become clearer about our own destinies.
It’s a universal concept that Nature is the ultimate healer. But in our busy lives, we don’toften make time to walk in the woods, putter in the garden, or sit down and enjoy a sunset. When we do, we feel rejuvenated, calm and centered.
If we are tuned into our bodies and moods, we may notice that we feel better or worse at certain times of the year. 5 Element Medicine looks at the seasons to help us better understand these feelings within ourselves and each other.
Plants have so many gifts for us-they are our food, our medicine, our inspiration, and they feed our Spirit. In this workshop we’ll journey to the spirit of a plant for the wisdom the plant has to offer us.
With over 40 years of combined experience as Plant Spirit Medicine Healers, Clare and Jean will guide you on this experiential journey. This one-day workshop is an introductory taste of PSM with the option of moving on to the full course that will begin in Spring 2024.
